About this programme

An online, career-focused and bilingual (FR–EN) programme co-developed with the GSMA, equipping decision-makers and experts to design, implement and evaluate public policies and digital regulation frameworks in Africa.

Objectives

The aim of the Professional Master's Degree in Digital Regulation is to train executives and decision-makers able to support the development of the digital economy in an environment marked by rapid technological change and constant market transformation. On completing the programme, graduates will be able to:

  • Analyse the economic, legal and technological issues of the digital sector;
  • Draw up and evaluate digital public policies;
  • Design regulatory mechanisms suited to new digital services;
  • Master the principles of competition in digital markets;
  • Understand the issues surrounding Internet governance;
  • Support the digital transformation strategies of states and organisations;
  • Assess the economic and social impact of digital policies;
  • Manage issues relating to personal data, connectivity and digital infrastructure;
  • Grasp the regulatory challenges of artificial intelligence, 5G and new digital services.

Admission requirements

Prerequisites

The Professional Master's Degree 2 in Digital Regulation is open to applicants:

  • Holding a four-year higher education qualification (Master 1 or equivalent);
  • With at least three years of professional experience;
  • Coming in particular from the following fields:
    • Telecommunications;
    • Law;
    • Economics;
    • Management;
    • Public administration;

Or any equivalent discipline

Documents required Applicants must submit a file containing:

  • A photocopy of their identity document;
  • Two (02) passport photographs;
  • Academic transcripts for the M1 year
  • An application fee of 10,000 F CFA
