ESMT's governance brings together the member States, the decision-making bodies and the executive management in order to steer the school's strategy and guarantee the quality of its academic and scientific activities.

The governing bodies
ESMT's governance is built around four main bodies: the Council of Ministers, the Board of Directors, the General Management and the Scientific and Academic Council.
Council of Ministers
Intergovernmental body that sets the broad strategic direction and appoints ESMT's senior officers.
Board of Directors
Supervisory body that adopts the budget and the activity programme and ensures the school is properly managed.
General Management
The executive team responsible for the operational, administrative and financial management of ESMT.
Scientific and Academic Council
Advisory body responsible for the academic quality of programmes and of training and research activities.
